A: A Liposuction Foam is used together with your faja/compression garment. When positioned over the lipo treated areas; it will help evenly distribute compression and will minimize folds or creases. The foam also helps with reduced bruising and swelling, as well as decreased waviness of the skin.
A: A Back Board helps in definition and shaping of the lumbar area. With constant use it will help prevent the retention of fluid in the lower area of the back.
A: Helps flatten your tummy post operative a liposuction, tummy tuck or postpartum. Consistent use of the board assists in effectively reattaching the skin to the muscle & mold your body.
A: It is recommend to wear your compression garment, along with ab or back board & foams for a minimum of 3 months. For the best results, 6 months to a year is HIGHLY recommended.
A: A Stage 1 garment is to be used right after surgery. It provides minimal to moderate compression. The material is much softer/lighter which aids in swelling & healing of your skin from recent trauma. You are to wear your stage 1 garment until you’re ready to transition to a stage 2 garment; which is usually 10-14 days.
A: A Stage 2 Garment provides firm compression. It helps in molding & shaping your body. The material has minimal stretch; which makies it more difficult to put on & take off. This garment should be worn together with board & foams for a minimum of 3 months. For best results; 6 months to a year is HIGHLY recommended.
A: The key to proper healing after procedures such as liposuction is adequate compression. A garment that is too tight is just as bad as a garment that is loose. We do offer faja alteration services to tailor your garment according to your individual measurements.
